02 - 1/3 cup vegetable oil
03 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
04 - 2 large eggs

→ Topping

05 - Melted chocolate, for drizzling or dipping
06 - Valentine sprinkles, optional

# Step-by-Step Guide:

01 - Preheat oven to 350°F (325°F for dark or nonstick pans). In a large mixing bowl, combine strawberry cake mix, vegetable oil, vanilla extract, and eggs. Stir thoroughly with a spoon until a uniform dough forms.
02 - Cover the bowl and refrigerate dough for 15 to 30 minutes to firm up.
03 - Using clean hands, shape the chilled dough into 1-inch diameter balls.
04 - Place dough balls about 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheets.
05 - Transfer baking sheets to the preheated oven and bake for 9 to 12 minutes, or until the tops appear set and the bottoms just begin to turn golden.
06 - Remove from the oven and cool cookies on baking sheets for 1 minute. Transfer to wire racks and let cool completely for about 30 minutes.
07 - Once cooled, drizzle melted chocolate over one side of the cookies or dip cookies partially in melted chocolate, according to preference. Add sprinkles for decoration if desired.

# Helpful Suggestions:

01 - Allow cookies to cool entirely before applying melted chocolate to prevent it from melting off.
